JENNY MAINTAINS IT STRENGTH AS IT THREATENS THE AURORA PROVINCE.

At 7:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Storm JENNY was estimated based on all available data at 210 km East Northeast of Infanta, Quezon or 210 km East of Baler, Aurora (15.4 N, 123.5 E )

JENNY is expected to make landfall in Aurora between 9:00 PM tonight and 1:00 AM tomorrow.
Between tonight and tomorrow (28 August) morning, intermittent to frequent moderate to heavy rains may be experienced over the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 2 is raised in the provinces of Mountain Province, Ifugao, and Benguet

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1 is raised in the provinces of Apayao, Abra and Kalinga

Residents in the aforementioned areas, especially those living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to floods and rain-induced landslides, are advised to take precautionary measures, coordinate with local disaster risk reduction and management offices, and continue monitoring for updates.
